Description
I created the original oil pastel painting #114 on 28 August 2005. The image is inspired by a window I rebuilt in the house I restored by hand in Elika, Greece and the view from that window. I worked so fast and so spontaneously that I cannot account for the color combinations in the image.
I have translated this image into a monochromatic graphic design which is available on this site on notecard ts-04 window view #114 in 4 different colors. Larger-format prints of this graphic design, suitable for framing, are also available on request.
My book Dancing Girl: Themes and Improvisations in a Greek Village Setting [available on this website] includes stories about my experience restoring the house and its history.
