Description
I created the original monotype print #166 on 17 November 2010. I began by applying a thin layer of relatively clear tacky substance to the surface of the entire plate with a brayer [roller]. Then I drew on the plate with oil pastel sticks, moved oil with mounting-board tabs, and applied swaths of ink with a brayer [roller]—not necessarily in that order. Finally, I added more detail with the inked blunt wooden tip of a brush handle.
This print is a fine companion to #165.
