Thordis created the graphics for these notecards from silver/turquoise pins
that her grandparents brought her, when she was a child, from their trips to the southwest. The jewelry brought, along with notecards sent, introduced Thordis to cultural diversity. The exception is the “happy dog” which was designed from a pin that belonged to Thordis’ mother.
