Description
I made the original monotype print #162, using the “viscosity roll” technique, on 1 November 2010. First I applied printing inks, thinned with clear oil, to the plate. Then I drew lines through the inks with mat board tabs. I had applied. Next I applied the black ink, dried with magnesium carbonate, with a large-diameter roller. The black ink filled the spaces between the ink first laid down on the plate. Finally, I drew the tree-shape with mat board tabs.
